Arts council company, Creative Sector Services, has partnered with the International Special Events Society (ISES) UK and is looking for SMEs within the events industry that are interested in developing/exploiting new or existing creative content through access to credit facilities and/or equity finance opportunities.

The programme, which is supported by the Business Visits and Events Partnership, is looking for 10 creative content projects, products or services that can be presented at a showcase event to be attended by representatives of Creative Sector Services along with potential investors and lenders to the creative industries who are interested in the opportunity to work with creative industry enterprises.

“Engaging with Creative Sector Services, an Arts Council company which represents the creativity and interests of the cultural sector is crucial to our industry,” says Director at Large, ISES UK and Marketing Director of Crewsaders, James Morgan. “Our partnership recognises that events are a major contributor to the global perception that the UK’s cultural industries lead and influence cultural trends around the globe. This initiative provides impetus and support to creative event professionals to innovate, furthering the ISES agenda that creativity is at the heart of our industry and that of the UK’s cultural output.”

The closing date for applications is 2 September 2013. To apply contact ISES and request the application form (operationsmanager@ises.org.uk). The successful 10 applicants will be invited to demonstrate their creativity and innovation at ISESConnects Creative Hub in early November 2013 in London.
