Following on from the recent announcement regarding Reed Travel Exhibitions’ (RTE) expansion into ica, Craig Moyes has moved from his post of Portfolio Director of the IBTM Events Portfolio, to head up RTE’s newly-structured Leisure Portfolio.
The Leisure portfolio will be the largest of the portfolios in the company’s Travel division and will consist of World Travel Market (WTM), World Travel Market Latin America (WTMLA), World Travel Market ica (WTMA) and Arabian Travel Market (ATM), along with some additional projects that are currently under development.
“I am very much looking forward to taking on this new challenge and heading up what will now be the largest of the portfolios in the Travel division,” said Moyes.
RTE Managing Director, Richard Mortimore, said: “We are delighted that Craig has accepted this new role as his wide experience at senior management levels in the broader exhibition industry and previous job as Exhibition Director on World Travel Market makes him a perfect candidate.
“As Portfolio Director for IBTM Event Portfolio, Craig has built a strong multi-national, multi-cultural team, who are used to working across multiple shows in a highly competitive industry segment and he thus brings the talent and experience needed to drive the Leisure portfolio forward.”
A replacement as Moyes successor for the Meetings portfolio is still being sought.
