The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) will host five major conferences over the next 12 months.

NetApp Insight 2012 Conference takes place on 13-16 November 2012, with 2,300 delegates and returns to the CCD in 2013, as part of a two-year deal. The annual eHealth Week Conference will take place 13-15 May 2013 and the three-day event coincides with the Irish Presidency of the EU which will welcome 2,500 delegates.

The 15th International Congress of the European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP 2013) will take place on 6-10 July 2013, with over 2,000 delegates, and the 16th Annual European Congress of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) will take place on 2-6 November 2013 with over 3,300 attendees.

In its two years of operation the CCD has hosted over 570 events, and over 420,000 delegate days. Events include the International Bar Association Conference 2012, Google EMEA Sales Conference and the International Bar Association Conference 2012.

The CCD was recognised as one of the top four convention centres in the world by the International Association of Congress Centres, being awarded the accolade of one of three runners up for the 2012 Apex Award for ’World’s Best Convention Centre’, presented in June.

“Dublin as a destination and the CCD as a venue, are proving popular with organisers and delegates, with our client satisfaction rates consistently above 96 per cent,” says CEO of the CCD, Nick Waight. “We were honoured to be recognised by the AIPC Apex Award, less than two years after opening, as this is based on independently audited client feedback.”
