As part of Conference News’ continued efforts to support the industry, the ‘Just Meet’ scheme will be launched in October.
The scheme will available for any event venue or planner to use and is set to run throughout the next six months. It aims to help facilitate more meeting and small business event bookings despite the restrictions that have been put in place.
The concept is simple; each signed up venue will produce a bespoke offering for anyone looking to book their space through the scheme. For any planner looking to host a meeting or small event in 2020 or 2021, the ‘Just Meet’ effectively acts as a directory of venue offers to redeem for cost-effective and safe meetings.
Jack Newey, sales director at Conference News, founder of the scheme said: “There’s always going to be the need for meetings and events, the main issue at the moment as we all know is lack of clarity on safety restrictions and reduced budget for event bookers. The ‘Just Meet’ scheme should offer an easy to use tool for event planners whilst helping recoup some business for the UK venues, as well as lead the charge in reigniting the meetings and events market.”
