Event management company Conference House is launching a new exhibition targeting the work of charities and associations.
The nfp events exhibition will take place on 25 September at the
Business Design Centre, Upper Street, Islington, and will run alongside
the nfp technology show, which hit London in 2010.
The event will be geared towards event managers in the not-for-profit
sectors, and is looking at up to 500 delegates, and 30 exhibitors. A
further 30 exhibitors are expected for the technology show.
Planned seminar topics include generating revenue from your conference,
maximising exhibition attendance, setting up a sporting challenge, crowd
control and compliance, negotiating with suppliers, social media events
marketing and risk and insurance issues.
Exhibitors will include charity challenge event suppliers, professional
conference planning agencies, venues, caterers, signage contractors and
insurance brokers.
“Events are crucial to not for profits,” said Conference House MD
Michael Webb. “They are a chance to meet supporters face-to-face,
augment income and meet statutory requirements – for example holding
membership AGMs.
“Advanced event suppliers’ solutions, marketing tools and management
techniques can streamline resources and increase events ROI. The show
will allow non profit professionals to explore the potential of their
events in a convenient one day business to business forum.”
