Coconnex, an event technology company, has announced the results of its Hope Foundation charity initiative, which aims to support disadvantaged children in India.

During its exhibition at Event Tech Live (ETL), Coconnex donated to the charity platform B1G1, to provide education for deprived children. The company donated each time it had a meaningful contact with a visitor.

Coconnex donated a total of 600 days of education, which amounts to one months tuition for 30 children in India.

Abhilasha Sen, head of marketing, Coconnex, said: “We truly believe that inclusive education is paving the path to solving many world problems.”

Although enrolment in primary education has risen to “91% in developing countries” commented Sen, “there is there is still an estimated 57 million children across the globe who are at schooling age who aren’t receiving an education.”

She continued: “Empowerment and social impact is at the very core of Coconnex values. Through having a stand at ETL and our day-to-day interactions with current and potential new partners, we have managed to donate 1,080 days of education to disadvantaged children.”
