Conference News has announced the CN Sustainability Summit 2023 will now take place on 7 September at 15Hatfields.
The summit was originally scheduled to take place on 20 July. The new date aims to ensure delegate travel will not be impacted by the planned RMT rail strikes (20, 22 and 29 July).
Successfully launched in 2022, the CN Sustainability Summit aims to bring the events industry together to evaluate our collective sustainable impact, discuss best practices and generate ideas on how to address key issues hindering efforts to create a more sustainable future for events.
The agenda for the 2023 summit is now available. Topics include Travelling Sustainability; Delivering a Green Event; Sustainable Venue Selection; Catering with a Conscience and Sustainable Stakeholders. To download the delegate information pack, click here.
Commenting on the news, Cameron Roberts, editor, Conference News, said: “The CN Sustainability Summit is one of our most impactful events, a place to share best practice on carbon reduction, waste management and CSR strategy. It’s vital that we give as many people as possible the chance to attend and contribute. Therefore, we have made the decision to move the conference, so as not to be impacted by the rail strikes.
“I hope as many event managers as possible make it along to the event, as it is becoming ever-more important that organisers are aware of their green goals.”
