Now in it’s third year, the CN Agency Awards are an annual celebration of the event management agency sector here in the UK.
Clearly 2020 has been one of the toughest years that the events industry has ever faced, but within the MICE industry in particular, there are very few organisers that have been hit harder by the pandemic than event management agencies.
With events being the core business for the vast majority of agents, the restrictions on gatherings has really challenged the market to find other methods of operating, or indeed creating memorable experiences within the parameters set.
As a result, Conference News wants to reflect those efforts in the categories for the 2021 event and has introduced a selection of new awards to recognise achievement in these areas.
The new award categories include Small Agency of the Year, Medium Agency of the Year, Large Agency of the Year, Global Agency of the Year, Start-up Agency of the Year, PCO of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Salesperson of the Year, Hybrid Event Producer of the Year and Online Event Producer of the Year.
Other categories include Sales Team of the Year, Creative Team of the Year, Rapid Response Team Award, Employer of the Year, Sustainability Award, Innovation Award and Community Support Award.
Submissions are free to enter and run from 1 December-19 February.
To enter, visit the website once submissions are live and download the relevant forms.
Once submissions open, the CN team will be circulating a guide to submissions for anyone who wishes to pick up some tips on what this year’s judging panel are looking for and how to write a winning submission. Simply email cnevents@mashmedia.net and request a copy.
