Cloud-based venue management software provider, Priava, has welcomed 50 customers since its launch in March this year.

Clients include Woods Silverfleet, Somerset House and Allyns School in the UK as well as Australian venues ranging from the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney, Charles Sturt University and Navarra Venues.

Allowing venue managers access to their venue and event information anywhere, anytime, Priava’s services offer customers the opportunity to operate their venue, track sales and manage event booking enquiries from across the globe.

The simplicity of the system, which includes a fully-integrated CRM platform, enables users to get started immediately, with minimal training. The company says that in many cases new clients have seen a cost reduction of 25 per cent, yet report an increase in productivity of up to 35 per cent.

“The mass migration we’re seeing to cloud-based venue solutions is gaining momentum by the day, this really is the calm before the storm,” says GM for the EMEA at Priava, Daniel Cole. “We’ve been delighted to see so many venues signing up to the Priava solution, with each new client staying ahead of the pack in terms of event management technologies.”

Sales of cloud software topped £100bn (US$156bn) in July 2013, the company says.

Priava celebrated the big ‘50’ with a client dinner, held in London and attended by Chief Executive James Pegum (pictured at the event) and a number of its UK customers.

With offices in Sydney, London and Silicon Valley, Priava’s customers include multi-venue groups, caterers, dedicated conference and exhibition centres, art galleries, museums, government departments, charter companies, clubs, stadiums, universities, town halls, theatres and outdoor venues.

The company is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
