Events agency D.A.S.H Events (Delivering Above Standards Honestly) has seen its clients requesting more live events.

“Clients are mainly asking for live. I haven’t heard the word virtual since the last lockdown ended,” says Damilola Onamusi, managing director, D.A.S.H Events.

“There’s an eagerness to be outside, to be amongst friends, family, business partners and like-minded individuals. People are making up for lost time,” she adds.

Despite this, there is still hesitancy, which should be expected, says Onamusi. “At D.A.S.H Events, we speak to all potential clients about how we can protect their event in the instance there is another lockdown or rapid spread of a new variant.

“We do this by ensuring all contracts with third party suppliers include the possibility to receive a refund and/or the ability to transfer the deposit to a future date,” she reveals.

With the eagerness to return to live, the agency is also experiencing shorter lead times. “Whilst I love the challenge, I cannot wait to go back to have more than three months to plan experiences. This will allow for the creativity to be at 90% and the clients wants can be achieved without compromise,” she adds.
