Events agency Identity has seen an increase in client confidence when it comes to booking contracts.

“We are seeing more confidence from our clients when it comes to committing to future projects, whatever shape or format,” reveals Michael Gietzen, managing director, Identity.

“We are also seeing clients happy to put deposit payments down to secure venues or spaces,” he adds.

Client requests are also changing. Gietzen says clients now expect hybrid offerings to be “baked in” to their events. “This not only creates enhanced audience engagement, but it also provides access to global guest speakers,” he explains.

“Additionally, for most clients, the future of events must include a comprehensive commitment to environmental, social and economic impact to leave a lasting positive legacy.

“Clients want to do things differently and help communities thrive long after the event is complete,” Gietzen adds.
