Global event management agency cievents has expanded its UK team with three new appointments.
Andrew Barker (pictured above) joins as director of sales, transferring from cievents in New Zealand where he held a similar role for the last two years. He is a highly-skilled events professional with over 15 years’ experience in event management, business development and recruitment in the MICE and hospitality sectors in New Zealand.
Barker’s career includes senior sales and event manager roles at Accor Hotels and Auckland Pullman Hotel, as well as The Orange Group.
Basia Dudziak (above) takes over the position of key account manager from Jade Howgrave-Graham covering her maternity leave. Dudziak’s ten-year career in the MICE industry includes pivotal project manager and client relationship roles at Zibrant, Grass Roots and BI Worldwide.
She brings wide-ranging experience in management and delivery of complex live events in London and New York, across diverse client sectors including automotive, financial, legal and pharmaceutical. She is also skilled in developing and nurturing client relationships, driving client retention and identifying potential growth.
Simon Hubbard (pictured above) has been appointed as business development manager. He joins cievents from Radius Meetings & Events where he was global sales manager. His extensive 20-years’ experience in the MICE industry includes operations and senior sales positions at CWT Meetings & Events, pro-ven (Professional Venue Solutions Lts), and Conference & Incentive Management (CIM).
He has exceptional knowledge of the UK and international MICE market, including venue finding, supplier management, programme content, managing complex client budgets and RFP processes.
