Marketing Cheshire hosted a familiarisation trip for Visit England on 9 November following the launch of recently set up overseas offices.
Marketing Cheshire hosted regional managers and event sales managers from Asia-Pacific, North America, South America, Europe and the Nordics during the trip.
“The visit from the regional sales managers was an opportunity for the destination and proved to be very productive,” said CEO of Marketing Cheshire, Chris Brown. “It is encouraging that VisitEngland is continuing to invest in its overseas offices and we will continue to work with the Visit England team to increase awareness and business from overseas markets.”
Cheryl Bristow, Business Visits and Events Executive London from VisitEngland, added: “The group were impressed with the range of diverse leisure and business event products available in the city. We are looking forward to working with Marketing Cheshire in the future to develop Cheshire content at trade shows and within our sales missions and networking opportunities.”
