Cheltenham Racecourse launched its ‘Best of British’ menu on Thursday 19 April 2012.
The venue hosted 35 guests who were treated to a selection of dishes from the new food offering. Guests from Carlson Wagonlit Travel, BookOTel and Choice Locations were introduced to the new menu by The Jockey Club’s Executive Chef, Frazer Wilson, which included a ‘dinosaur’ roast, create your own deli, a smoked salmon counter and tapas displays.
Cheltenham Racecourse showcased the well-known British dishes, while also promoting the local suppliers who have contributed their home-grown ingredients to the new menu. Suppliers attending the event included representatives from Hailes Fruit & Veg, Hobbs Bakery, Coln Valley, Battledown Ale and Cotswold Brie.
