Singapore has again grabbed the top spot in the Skytrax annual best airports in the world list. It is the sixth year in a row it has won the accolade. Airports from Asia swept the board with all top five spots.
No US airport figured in the top 25. Denver was the highest ranked at No.29.
London’s Heathrow inched up a place to No.8 on the back of positive feedback for its Terminal 5.
The list was revealed at the consumer-aviation website’s annual World Airport Awards, held at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Stockholm, Sweden.
The rankings are based on feedback from 14m flyers from over 100 countries. More than 550 airports were included in the survey.
The top 10 Skytrax best airports for 2017 were:
1. Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN)
2. Incheon International Airport (ICN)
3. Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND)
4. Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
5. Hamad international Airport (DOH)
6. Munich Airport (MUC)
7. Central Japan
8. London Heathrow Airport (LHR)
9. Zurich Airport (ZRH)
10. Frankfurt Airport (FRA)
