Central Hall Westminster partnered with White Light to host the Indian musical ‘Suron ki Mehfil’, which took place on 14 February.
The event was held in the venues Great Hall in front of a live audience of 1,700 and was presented by Culture and Arts in partnership with Events to Enjoy.
The Bollywood professionals included Padmashree Kavita Krishnamurthy, Padmashree Dr. Suresh Wadkar, Sudesh Bhosle and Shailendra Singh.
White Light delivered technical solutions for the event, which included rigging, lighting, audio, video, and stage management. Working closely with sound designer, Simon Allen, the White Light team provided an enhanced audio system and a bespoke lighting package designed in-house.
Fraser Carr-Gomm, senior venue production technician, White Light, said: “As well as featuring four Bollywood legends, the live performances were accompanied by a 24-piece Grand Philharmonic Orchestra and a host of other musicians.
“Utilising the d&b audiotechnik Y-Series, we were able to achieve superior audio quality and even coverage throughout the Great Hall for the show. The lighting and accompanying video content further added to the immersive experience.”
