The Business Travel Show, organised by Centaur Travel Group, is to invest further in its hosted buyer programme, extending it from two to three days for 2013. There will be a conference on the day before the main show takes place on 5-6 February.

The afternoon conference, on Monday 4 February 2013, will feature panel debates and round table discussions, some with a European focus. There will be networking drinks and a dinner in central London.

The Business Travel Show 2012 attracted 6,061 visitors, according to audited figures, an increase of 21 per cent on 2011. The figure included 800 UK and European buyers who pre-scheduled 3,415 appointments.

“This additional round of investment in the hosted buyer programme for 2013 is testament to our commitment to continue to deliver the most comprehensive, relevant and rewarding learning and networking opportunities for senior corporate travel buyers across Europe,” said Event Director David Chapple.

“Hosted buyers will enhance their industry knowledge through a programme of 32 high-end conference sessions.”
