Centaur expands hosted buyer team for Business Travel Show

Centaur Exhibitions has expanded its hosted buyer and sales teams for the Business Travel Show as part of its on-going, long-term investment programme into the event.
 
The show, taking place in London 5-6 February 2013, is an exhibition and conference for corporate travel buyers, managers and bookers to source, learn and network.
 
The Business Travel Show team has been bolstered with three new additions: Hosted Buyer Co-ordinator Vicky Berry; Sales Manager Tori Al-Shaikhly; and Sales Executive Norbert Owusu Asenso.
 
Berry will work alongside the Business Travel Show’s Hosted Buyer Manager Graham Angus, who launched the show’s fully-hosted programme last year attracting around 800 high-spending UK and European buyers from the likes of Nike, Sony, Jaguar Land Rover, Kellogg’s, Microsoft, 02, British Gas, Aviva, Bridgestone and Nomura.
 
Al-Shaikhly has a background in sales for publishing and event houses, most recently for Working Mums, where she held the post of Strategic Account Manager. Owusu Asenso is an experienced Sales Executive having worked for Sky, British Gas, Sports Direct and Waterlow Publishing. They will work alongside Event Director David Chapple and Sales Director Katy Phelps.
 
“Following significant investment into the Business Travel Show, including the launch of the fully-hosted buyer programme, the 2012 show attracted 6,061 visitors, an increase of 21 per cent on 2011, and exhibitor numbers jumped 47 per cent from 134 to 197,” said Chapple.
 
“The appointment of three new faces to the hosted buyer and sales teams is just another indication of our continued support for the event, ensuring it continues to be the premier destination for business travel buyers to source, learn and network for many years to come.”
