Carlson Wagonlit Travel promotes Patrick Andersen

Event management company Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), has promoted Patrick Andersen to the role of Executive Vice President for the UK and Ireland, Nordics and Eastern Europe.
 
Andersen replaces Andrew Waller, who was recently promoted to President for the Europe Middle East and ica, and Global Partners Network at CWT.
 
Andersen joined CWT in 2008 as Country Manager for Denmark, and became Executive Vice President for the Nordic region in 2009. In this role, he successfully integrated Ark Travel into CWT Sweden and led the acquisition and integration of Kaleva Travel in Finland. Most recently, the Eastern European zone was added to his responsibilities.
 
Waller said: “Patrick is a natural choice to continue to support the strong UK and Ireland team. He is a proven and respected leader who will build on CWT’s success for our customers and our business.”
 
Prior to CWT, Andersen worked for 23 years at DHL. He held various international positions in sales and marketing, operations and general management, including a three-year tenure in the UK.
