Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire has unveiled a £6.5m investment into its 197 bedrooms, integrating energy-efficient technologies with a fresh new interior design.

As well as the overhaul of the bedrooms, the hotel recently unveiled its £500k refurbished conference space, The Carden Suite.

The comprehensive refurbishment will include a full rooftop Plant Room overhaul, extensive use of PV solar panels, air source heat pumps in courtyard rooms and energy-efficient air conditioning throughout the main hotel.

The installation of a state-of-the-art air conditioning system in each room is expected to yield a 50% reduction in energy consumption.

In collaboration with Vital Heating Solutions, renowned for their expertise in innovative and sustainable infrastructure, Carden Park Hotel aims to elevate the overall guest experience while minimising its carbon footprint.

Hamish Ferguson, director and general manager said: “We are thrilled to embark on this exciting project to enhance our luxury accommodation, reinforcing our commitment to providing an exceptional and rejuvenating experience for our guests. Sustainability has been at the forefront of all previous renovations at the hotel, and we endeavour to continue this trajectory in all future transformation projects.”

20 rooms have been fully refurbished as of October 2024, with 40% of all bedrooms set to be completed by spring 2025.
