UK and global accommodation, conference, event management and business travel agency, Calder Conferences, has won a Government contract harnessing venuedirectory.com.
Calder Conferences will provide booking services for meetings and events across central Government. The company won the sole supplier contract ahead of some of the UK’s top conference and events suppliers. It is the first time the Government has awarded a sole supplier framework for its events.

As a pan Government agreement the first Government department to move to Calder Conferences will be the Home Office at the beginning of August and then there is a rolling programme to implement all departments by April 2013.
