The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) will visit Northern Ireland as part of its next partnership meeting with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB).

The partnership holds quarterly meetings around the UK and will visit the Titanic Quarter in Belfast and Londonderry, UK City of Culture. The visits will be part of a familiarisation programme built around the main partnership meeting.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming the BVEP and their representative memberships to Northern Ireland,” said Willie Lougheed, B2B Manager for the NITB. “We’ve held some fantastic events already this year and having the UK event industry represented in the destination is a real endorsement of Northern Ireland and our events product.”

The BVEP is the umbrella organisation for the UK events industry, representing leading trade and professional associations within the business visits and events sector.

“Everyone on the partnership is delighted to be convening in Northern Ireland this month and we’re grateful for the wonderful programme NITB has pulled together,” said Chris Skeith, BVEP Vice Chair. “There has been so much going on in Northern Ireland over the last few years; it should be a productive trip for the partnership.”
