Butlin’s Bognor Regis has launched the UK’s first holiday resort indoor gaming activity centre as part of a £15m investment.

Covering 50,000sqft across two floors, PLAYXPERIENCE is equipped with nine activities including: TechPutt, Escape Rooms, VR-cade, Glow Pong, Shuffleboard, Laser Tag, Batting Cage, Neo Games and Digi Darts, alongside a café and bar.

The concept behind ‘PLAYXPERIENCE’ takes into account national research conducted by Butlin’s revealing that more than three quarters of Brits (78%) admit to being competitive with their family and friends.

The venue is also designed with accessibility in mind. The majority of the nine activities provide adaptations for guests with additional needs as well as being the second Butlin’s venue to be equipped with changing places toilets.

Each gaming zone features its own unique theme and immersive experience, with flexible corporate packages that provide a VIP experience.

Jon Hendry Pickup, CEO at Butlin’s, said: “There’s nothing else like it in the market and we know corporates holding their events at Bognor Regis will love the range of activities on offer.”
