Burnley FC has become the latest club to join Lime Venue Portfolio.
The club were crowned champions of the Championship last season, and won promotion to the Premier League, taking the portfolio up to five stadiums in the top flight, for the coming 2023/24 campaign.
The arrival of Burnley FC will also expand the group’s reach in the North of England. Recent research by Lime Venue Portfolio has shown a growing demand by business event organisers for ‘locality’ within venue selection.
Stuart Hunt, director, Burnley FC, said: “Turf Moor stadium and Burnley FC have been a constant fixture within the local community for well over a century and we want our events business to reflect both our affinity with the people of East Lancashire, but also the increasingly global reach and profile of our football team.”
Burnley FC will join the other sporting stadia already represented within the portfolio, including Twickenham, The King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City, The City Ground, home stadium of Nottingham Forest, Bramall Lane, Sheffield United, Cardiff City, Watford FC, the Swansea.comstadium, where Swansea City play, The Gtech Community Stadium, home of Brentford FC, Glasgow Rangers FC, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
