Food and drink agency, Creativevents, has re-launched Brooklands Museum’s Clubhouse with a £200,000 restyling of the hospitality suites of this Surrey venue.
In keeping with the Art Deco feel of the Museum, the new-look Clubhouse includes the makeover of the Edwardian Napier Room with its own private balcony overlooking the paddock. Other rooms that have been restyled include the Members’ Bar and the Blue Bird Room, which celebrates Sir Malcolm Campbell’s exploits with his Blue Bird racing cars.
The 105-year-old Clubhouse has also had upgrades to its AV facilities, heating and ventilation as well as a new-look reception area and corridors, and houses the public Sunbeam Café, which was refurbished two years ago.
Brooklands Museum is located in Surrey, close to Heathrow Airport and the M25 and within easy reach of London on the A3 or 35 minutes by train from Waterloo. It can accommodate events from a small board meeting for eight people to a dinner for over 200 people and with outdoor event space there is the capacity to hold events for up to 400 in a marquee.
