Winners of the British Citizen Awards were toasted at London Westminster venue Church House, 25 January. The bi-annual awards receptions have been coming to the venue since 2015.

The Assembly Hall hosted the latest post-event drinks reception following a presentation ceremony at the House of Lords, at which 36 individuals were recognised for the exceptional impact they have had on the community. They were presented with British Citizen Awards Medals of Honour in eight categories, including for services to industry, education, arts, business, healthcare, volunteering and charitable giving, community and international achievement.

Sara Yarrow, spokesperson for The British Citizen Award, said: “We are delighted to hold the post-event drinks reception for The British Citizen Award presentation at Church House Westminster. The building itself and Assembly Hall are the perfect venue to celebrate and hear the stories from each of our medalists.”

General manager Robin Parker added: “We were delighted to welcome back the British Citizen Awards to Church House, we have hosted the post awards reception since its inaugural event in 2015, and it is always a pleasure to be involved in such an inspiring event.”
