Brighton’s British Airways i360 tower closed again on Sunday (26 March), due to a technical fault. It is set to reopen on Tuesday.
The incident marks the third time since it opened last August that the 161m tall attraction has been closed.
Last month the i360 closed for four days due to a faulty cable. Passengers were stranded for an hour during the incident.
Last September, the observation pod broke down three times within five days and one private party was reportedly stuck for two hours with no proper toilet facilities.
At the base of the i360 tower there are conference rooms, with the largest able to host 200 delegates theatre style. Meetings can be combined with tower rides…when working of course.
