Brighton has been praised after hosting the high profile meeting of European Ministers to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe from 18-20 April.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office commended VisitBrighton for the way the city and its venues worked together to produce an outstanding event for400 delegates from the Council of Europe’s 47 member states. The conference represents over 800m citizens and discussed some of the most important topics and reforms within Europe.
The city, which has welcomed many high profile events, was host to the Council of Europe’s main conference, ancillary activities and accommodation, during which the Brighton Declaration was signed.
