The Brighton Music Conference (BMC), an electronic music conference and networking event, has been awarded for its commitment to developing awareness for electronic music.

The ‘Ambassadors of the Night Awards’ took place on 2 December at The Hippodrome Casino, Leicester Square.

The Night Time Industry Association, an organisation that promotes the contribution to the ‘Night Time’ industry, presented BMC with the award.

The award ceremony was created in 2018 to recognise key voices within the ‘Night-Time’ business sector.

The event included a range of speakers including Ariel Palitz, nightlife Mayor, Rafael Espinal Jnr, city council member and Daryl Lyon from the Northamptonshire CIRV Scheme.

Michael Kill, Night Time Industry Association, said that the BMC’s work is “exceptional” and that it represents the “type of initiative and entrepreneurial spirit which leads the way for the NTE.”

Billy Mauseth, director, Brighton Music Conference, said: “BMC are honoured to get this award and we are all over the moon! We just want to thank all our speakers, sponsors and artists who attend year after year and see our vision of creating a more successful and sustainable electronics music industry.”
