The Brighton Centre has won its bid to host the British Red Cross National Assembly for 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Each year, the charity gathers to celebrate its achievements at home and abroad. In 2013, over 900 volunteers and staff will hit the beach as the National Assembly pitches up at the Brighton Centre. The Assembly, which has the theme ‘leading in times of change’, will give the organisation’s volunteers a chance to hear about recent success and discuss upcoming initiatives.
“It is a privilege to have such a prestigious organisation booking so far in advance; it demonstrates its trust and confidence in the Brighton Centre’s ability to deliver,” says Howard Barden, General Manager for the centre.
The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis.
