BOBI 2014 casts net to conference market

The organiser of Best of Britain & Ireland tradeshow has announced it is to attempt to widen the show’s traditional travel leisure offering in order to appeal to the business event and conference and meeting sectors.

The organiser of Best of Britain & Ireland (BOBI) tradeshow has announced it is to attempt to widen the show’s traditional travel leisure offering in order to appeal to the business event and conference and meeting sectors.

“With the majority of exhibitors to BOBI in the hotel, venue, destinations and attractions market, the initiative is a natural progression for the show,” said Group Managing Director at Expo Management, Mark Griffin.

“It is time again for the meetings and events industry to have a presence in Birmingham at The NEC,” the organiser said.

Last year, BOBI attracted around 2,000 attendees, down around 10 per cent  on the previous year.
