London-based events caterer Blue Strawberry Group has secured a five-year contract worth over £10 million to provide hospitality and event services at 8½ London, the home of The Skinners’ Company.

The Grade I listed venue, which has a history dating back to the 17th century, is set to reopen in January 2025 after extensive restoration. The 300-capacity venue will offer exclusive hire of its seven indoor spaces and three outdoor areas for corporate and private events.

Blue Strawberry Group, which already boasts in-house venue accreditations such as No.4 Hamilton Place, won the contract following a competitive tender process. The selection criteria emphasised sustainability and ESG principles, aligning with 8½ London’s goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040.

Andrew Kennett CBE, clerk of the Skinners’ Company, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Blue Strawberry Group as our exclusive hospitality partner at 8½ London. Their proven track record of excellence and innovative approach to sustainability and culture perfectly aligns with our vision for the future of this historic venue.”

Stuart Jenkins, managing director of Blue Strawberry Group, added: “This is a monumental achievement for Blue Strawberry Group. Our team is committed to delivering extraordinary events that celebrate the grandeur of 8½ London and embody our core values of sustainability and excellence.”
