Blackpool has recently had a £500m investment, making it the UK’s fastest growing business destination. The Winter Gardens Blackpool, its new hybrid conference centre, is one space which has benefited from this investment.
In this latest CN Explore, Cameron Roberts chats to representatives of the venue and Blackpool council find out how the town is reinventing itself.
Commenting on the venue, Rebecca Thompson, special events manager, Blackpool Winter Gardens, said: “Our unique selling point is the contrast of the old and the new. We have our state-of-the-art two floor conference centre which is now being built and completed, and then we have the old in terms of iconic Empress Ballroom and The Spanish Hall.”
