More than 600 students benefited from the support of a mentor in 2018/2019 and this year the university says it has an even “bolder ambition”. The university says it would like to “significantly increase the number of alumni who volunteer to take part because we believe that former students make ideal mentors”.

Mentors will be expected to commit to two hours a month with an assigned student over the phone, face-to-face, by email or via Skype.

Deadline for applications is 15 October. Click here to learn more and to get involved.

A celebratory event will be held on 4 June 2020 for mentors and mentees.
