Meetings and events agency BCD M&I has appointed Gary Povey as Business Development Director for Europe, the Middle East and ica (EMEA).
Povey has worked previously for Portman Travel, American Express, Citi Group and for five years at Omega World Travel as Director of Sales and Client Services EMEA. Most recently, he was Area Sales Director London for InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG).
“Gary’s experience and great track record will be a fantastic addition to BCD M&I,” says VP of Business Development for the EMEA, Karen Evans. “The breadth and depth of his knowledge of the events industry is exactly what we need to continue new business acquisition and I am really looking forward to having him as part of the team.”
Povey will be based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Maidenhead.
