Ex-Grass Roots Project Manager Sinead Barry has joined events agency Smyle as Events Logistics Manager. She will be responsible for in-house venue-sourcing and delegate management services and says she is excited by the newly-created role.
She tells CN joining the Eventia Agency of the Year 2011 was “not an opportunity to be missed.
“Smyle is a fantastic agency with an impressive client portfolio and I am enjoying working with the team to create a more solid event logistics offering. I have a lot of agency experience running events for a wide range of clients so I bring with me sound knowledge and expertise that complements the already well-established skills and services Smyle offers our clients.”
Dominic Thomas-Smith, Smyle’s Events Director, said of the appointment: “Over the last 18 months, we have been fortunate to have worked on a number of large logistics focused events for existing and new clients and are excited by the opportunity available to us in this sector. Bringing Sinead in to head this department provides us with some real focus in this space and provides our clients with a dedicated and experienced resource.”
Barry said she was excited to be joining Smyle. “We have some really interesting events coming up and I am looking forward to working with the team to ensure the delivery of our events is both seamless and exceeds our client’s expectations,” she added.
