Bankside Venues hosted its first Bankside Venues Spectacular, offering events and conference professionals the chance to be inspired for 2013.
Bankside Venue Spectacular brought together all of the Bankside district’s venues together in one place to meet over 100 industry professionals from organisations and brands ranging from HSBC and Integro to Ipsos Mori and CPRE.
Attendees were able to explore the packages and offers available to meet their events’ requirements from a wide variety of venues. These ranged from cultural landmarks such as The Jerwood Space, and The Swan at The Globe Theatre through to attractions including The Golden Hinde and Vinopolis (which was home to the Spectacular after its recent refurbishment), as well as many of the major hotels and restaurants from the area.
Peter Williams, CEO of Better Bankside who run Bankside Venues said: “It’s fantastic to see so many of our wonderful venues and suppliers come together for the Spectacular, demonstrating the exciting potential of hosting an event in Bankside. We really do have something for everyone.”
