asembl.group appoints partnership manager to lead growth strategy

Full service event group, asembl.group has appointed Mike Linford as its new partnership manager, reinforcing the group’s national expansion strategy.

Linford joins with a strong skillset across both agency and brand roles, having held positions at Make Events, The Fresh Group and most recently at MyProtein as events and activation manager.

His new role at asembl.group will focus on building strategic partnerships, nurturing client relationships, and driving regional growth as the group continues to diversify its UK footprint.

The appointment is also a meaningful personal milestone for asembl.group CEO Gavin Farley, who mentored Linford during the Covid-19 pandemic through the Elevate Mentoring scheme.

Farley said: “This really has gone full-circle then hasn’t it. I had the privilege of mentoring Mike when the industry was facing huge challenges and since then we’ve built a great friendship. Watching him evolve and succeed across leading agencies and brands has been incredibly rewarding.”

He added: “To now welcome him officially into the asembl.group family is a proud moment, both personally and professionally.”

Linford said: “Having first connected with Gavin through elevate five years ago, it’s been a pleasure to maintain that relationship and watch asembl.group grow into the powerhouse it is today.
