Worcester-based business travel company arrangeMY has secured a new national contract with Halfords, to support its future business travel needs.

The three-year contract will see arrangeMY deliver a tailored package to Halfords including business travel, transient accommodation, venue finding and event management.

The agency believes hard work and existing knowledge of the account helped to secure the new deal, as well as a proactive attitude to be able to personalise and tailor needs to each individual client.

David Hammond, GNFR procurement manager at Halfords, commented: “We are excited to be extending our relationship with arrangeMY and are already seeing great colleague uptake of their new services, such as the online travel booking portal.”

An improved online booking tool, launched recently by arrangeMY, has seen one client achieve 95% adoption, saving a reported £1,800 in fees on rail travel alone within a four-month period.

The motoring, cycling and leisure products retailer has over 11,000 colleagues, operating out of 460 retail sites and 313 Autocentres.

Nick Scott, managing director of arrangeMY, said: “It’s a testament to our team that we have been awarded this latest contract from Halfords. We are looking forward to providing them with a complete travel service, so they can concentrate on the other important aspects of their business.”

arrangeMY has been trading since 1990 and employs 60 members of staff at its head office in Worcester.
