VisitBritain has opened applications for its 2023/2024 Business Events Growth Programme.
The Business Events Growth Programme forms part of the government’s commitment to grow the business events sector.
The support available includes:
- Candidate City Bid Support – to bid and win new international business events in the UK.
- International Delegate Growth – to support the creation, growth, and internationalisation of your business events in the UK.
- Government Advocacy – to support the UK’s business events industry and add value to your events by working with HM Government.
Paul Black, head of business events, VisitBritain, said: “The Business Events Programme has been an invaluable tool to support and provide added value to new and existing events taking place in Britain.
“Since its inception it has provided grants to over 150 events in 19 cities across Britain in key business sectors such as medical life and life sciences, technology, creative services and energy transformation”
Application details
Applications are now open to event organisers, convention bureaus, destination management organisations, universities and associations. Organisations can apply for grant funding of up to £20,000.
