Carol Anderson has been promoted to Head of Public Relations at London-based The Mermaid Conference and Events Centre.
Anderson has worked for the events centre, formerly Mermaid Theatre, next to Blackfriars Station for the past 13 years and the centre says that during this time has helped it “more than quadruple its income”.
During this time the venue has diversified from being a theatre to a multi-functional event space hosting conferences, presentations, AGMs, product launches, fashion shows, dinners and concerts.
Anderson has worked closely in the past with brands such as BT, Sainsbury’s, Apple, Nestle and BBC Radio 2.
Following a change in ownership with an ongoing refurbishment programme, The Mermaid will reposition itself as a diverse venue in the market place.
