Events space Altitude London, located at the top of Grade II listed Millbank Tower, is under new ownership. Industry veteran Alan Turtill is taking the helm as managing director, in the next step of a 25-year events career which has seen him work with Kensington Roof Gardens, Paramount and Century Member’s Club.
The Altitude London contains three bespoke event spaces. The Millbank Media Centre on the ground floor, which contains its own cinema, holds 270 people. On the 28th floor the Altitude Skyloft holds 550, while on the 29th floor Altitude 360 (pictured above and below) has a capacity of 650 people, offering 360 degree views of the city.
The venue is bringing back some of its signature in-house events, such as the Industry Summer Party and its New Year’s Eve event, which offers unrivalled views of the London Eye and prime seats for the stunning firework display.
Turtill commented: “We are very excited to bring new innovative packages and experiences to Millbank Tower and look forward to delivering excellent service and building fantastic relationships with our agency and direct customers.”
