Dale Parmenter (pictured), the Chairman of Eventia says the Eventia Awards “continue to go from strength to strength and the range of categories and opportunities for us to embrace businesses from right across the industry is once again creating a really great mix of agencies, venues, suppliers and clients”.

The Awards take place at the London Hilton Park Lane, 22 November, and will be hosted by comedian and TV presenter Alexander Armstrong.

Agencies that have already booked their seats for the night include Capita Travel & Events, P&MM Ltd, Juice Live Communications, Worldspan Group, Corporate Awards, Slice, Grass Roots and Universal WorldEvents.

The hotel sector is represented by Hilton, Fairmount Raffles and Swissotel Hotels & Resorts, Jumeirah, Four Seasons and Kerzner International.

Upjet Turizm has been confirmed as a new category sponsor, reflecting Eventia’s international DMO and DMC membership.

Camillian Home, a children’s charity in Thailand, has been chosen as the cause Eventia will support this year at the annual awards.

Emma Cashmore, Deputy Chair of Eventia, said: “We wanted to work with a cause that was delivering something that our members and guests could really understand and get excited about. Providing facilities for sport, play and local events for the community has a massive appeal – let alone the pleasure it’ll bring to the children in the home itself. The gifts from our generous supporters and our partnership with MIMN are also invaluable elements of what I’m sure will be a great night of celebration and giving for a really worthy cause.”
