Cornish technology and business conference Agile on the Beach 2013, which takes place 5-6 September, has sold out for the first time.
Following a surge in ticket sales, with the total tickets sold for the third annual conference tripling, the event will see 210 delegates, including 30 national and international speakers spending two days in Cornwall. They will learn the latest in Agile thinking at the conference, which aims to explore Agile methodologies in terms of their technical and business application.
The conference has also attracted 70 local delegates, who can explore what Agile can mean for their businesses.
“We are delighted to have sold out the conference,” says Director of the conference, Toby Parkins. “The Agile on the Beach team are currently reviewing capacity for the two days and will be operating a waiting list of those who wish to attend but have been unable to secure a ticket.”
Anna Penrose from Unlocking Potential, which is headline sponsor of the event, says: “It’s fantastic news that Cornwall is attracting more than 200 businesses to this innovative two-day conference. Not only does the level of interest demonstrate the quality of speakers we’ve got lined up to talk about Agile but also the strength of collaboration in Cornwall which is at the heart of Agile on the Beach.”
The conference takes place at Falmouth University Tremough campus with a beach party on Thursday 5 September. The conference features a range of Agile thinkers and practitioners including keynotes from Gabriel Steinhardt and Dan North.
