UK-based agency, First Event has announced the appointment of Samantha Ambler (pictured right) as people director, Dan Walker (middle) as director of experiences and Claire Knox (pictured left) as director of marketing and communications.
Ambler brings extensive HR and business leadership experience across sectors including banking, energy and technology, while Knox, formerly marketing director at Jaywing, brings 25 years of experience in marketing and communications.
Walker joins First Event to oversee its creative, AV, and digital departments, building on his recent role as director and head of meetings and events at Emota.
As people director, Ambler will lead First Event’s people strategy, focusing on talent acquisition and development.
Knox, as director of marketing and communications will strengthen the agency’s position as a full-service event provider, covering strategy, design, creative, technology, and logistics.
Walker, the newly appointed director of experiences will apply his expertise to enhance the agency’s creative approach to delivering memorable brand experiences.
