Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is to host the National Arenas Association (NAA) this week for its quarterly meeting.
The NAA was founded in 1991 as a forum for managers of large-scale concert and event venues, its quarterly meetings provide a platform for industry debates and to establish best practice methods and industry standards for a constantly evolving industry.
AECC’s MD Brian Horsburgh, said: “The NAA is an invaluable organisation, in this business our peers are based far and wide, and these meetings are key to allow the industry to share knowledge and keep perming at optimum levels.”
Geoff Huckstep, Chairman of NAA commented: “It has been a few years since the NAA visited Aberdeen for its meeting, the members are looking forward to enjoying some traditional Scottish hospitality whilst at the same time discussing some of the key issues facing the live music and concert industry in the months ahead.”
