According to research from Access’s latest Hospitality Tech Trend Guide 2025, more than 53% of hospitality businesses are already utilising AI technology, surpassing the overall adoption rate across all business sectors.

AI solutions include chatbots and automated emails, voice assistants and speech recognition, gesture-based technology like touchscreens and physical devices such as robotics.

Of those hospitality operators using AI technologies, nearly 70% said it was helping them save time, while 68.3% report it has resulted in smoother, more productive operations.

The automation of repetitive tasks, such as scheduling or order tracking, has been shown to be able to reduce labour costs by up to 15%.

The Guide is written by Access’s in-house specialists, with contributions from industry experts such as Chris Fletcher of Tech on Toast, Nick Clarke, founder of Hop Training, and hospitality marketing expert James Mobbs.

Martin Verdon-Roe GM at Access Hospitality, said: “Creating connections that resonate with your guests long after they leave your venue will be the key to success for hospitality operators in 2025. The most successful brands will be the ones that are able to understand what truly matters to their audience and deliver meaningful, personalised experiences that make them feel valued.”

Champa Magesh managing director at Access Hospitality, commented: “The current pace of change in our industry is undeniable – every day we see how technology is reshaping hospitality from how we run our operations to the way we connect with our guests.”
