ACC Liverpool will offer free Wi-Fi to visitors and delegates across the Echo Arena and BT Convention Centre from January 2013.
ACC Liverpool said offering complimentary Wi-Fi was part of its ‘At Your Service’ offer, which sees the venue providing a range of value-added services to clients including floristry, furniture, technology and AV. It follows an investment into boosting wireless connectivity access points, allowing more people to use Wi-Fi simultaneously.
The venue said the service will offer a total of 100 Megabytes per second (Mbps), shared concurrently and free of charge, adding “Mbps can be increased if clients choose to purchase a bespoke package”.
The new offering was announced at ACC Liverpool’s London Showcase at the Ironmongers’ Hall on 21 November, which was attended by exhibition, conference and live events clients.
The venue also took the opportunity to details plans for its 8,100sqm Exhibition Centre Liverpool, which is to be built by Olympics Construction firm ISG.
