ACC Liverpool has won the contract for the International Bible Students’ Association annual conference, worth £500k to the local economy.

The event, at the BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, will visit the city for three consecutive years, with the first being held in August 2012. It is expected to attract 7,000 delegates.

David Algar, Event Organiser for the International Bible Student’s Association said: “The team at ACC Liverpool have been proactive in inviting our event to experience the flexible facilities they have on offer here in Liverpool.

“Our event is for people of all ages and ACC Liverpool can confidently cater for our every need. I personally have not visited an interlinked arena and convention centre with so many positives for our sort of convention, and I am really looking forward to bringing the Association to what promises to be a superb venue.”

Kerrin MacPhie, Director of Sales, ACC Liverpool, said: “The Association’s growing congregation, coupled with our ability to offer flexibility has proved to be a winning formula.”
