The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) has unveiled its upcoming events calendar as part of its new, membership focused website.
The various events over the coming months will lead up to the third Annual Festival of Learning, taking place from 29-30 April 2024 at the SEC in Glasgow, where the theme will be ‘Fit for the Future’.
Event professionals are invited to submit abstracts for the Festival of Learning up until 30 November 2023. The content submitted must focus on the following areas: innovation and creativity, adapting for the future and people.
Sarah Byrne, ABPCO co-chair, said: “Our upcoming events reflect ABPCO’s dedication to the professional growth and adaptability of our members. As the industry and the world in which we operate continues to evolve, we want to ensure that our PCOs are not only well-prepared but also at the forefront of innovation. “
Event calendar
Events over the coming months include:
- Toughening up our soft skills for success: an introduction to the use and impact of the Reflective Goal Setting Model – taking place on 13 November at Burleigh Court, Imago Venues, Loughborough.
- ABPCO’s 10th Annual Excellence Awards – taking place on 8 December at P&J Live, Aberdeen.
